Imagine that….. yet another study demonstrating that eating healthy can actually make you, well, healthy.

Iranian researchers gave 30 adult men 60 grams of almonds a day for 4 weeks. At the end of the 4 weeks, the men experienced significant reductions in their LDL (bad) cholesterol, their total cholesterol, and their apolipoprotein B100 (bad).  They also found that specific antioxidants found in almonds had a beneficial effect on the body’s ability to neutralize the risks associated with lipids in the blood.
